Role Purpose To ensure that all corporate and general communication to staff is channeled at the appropriate time, so as to support the achievement of the company Corporate Strategies and goals Key Responsibilities Ensure that all communication from the HR office follows the approved format and is channeled to the approriate audience at the appropriate time Responsible for internal communications on issues concerning staff well being eg, new staff, newborn babies, weddings, public holidays, hospitalisation etc Ensure activities that improve Employee Engagement are planned to cover the whole year and follow up on agreed timelines Overall responsibility to ensure the newsletter is published every quarter Responsible for controlling the entertainment budget in HR; organizing all company functions for the staff eg, Friday Drinks, Family days, and end year party and any other that may be recommended. Introduce any new activities to the organization that will enhance engagement and communication Prepare a monthly report on all activities in section on specified deadlines Backup responsible for the functions position assigned in case of absence.
