The Systems Developer’s role is to design, develop, and implement organizational information systems and software applications.
The Systems Developer is also responsible for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading existing systems and applications.
This individual will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to guide his/her development team on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems.

- Manage the development and deployment of new applications, systems software, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise.
- Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
- Provide direction for the application development team in support of business operations. Identify and resolve program errors.
- Review and analyze existing applications’ effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.
Requirements
- University degree in information systems, information technology or computer science. Certified as a Microsoft Certified Professional or equivalent.
- 4 years direct experience in software development and/or programming design and systems management.
- Direct, hands-on experience with automated software and system management tools.
- Extensive experience with core software applications especially major ERP systems Technically fluent in programming languages, including Java and Visual Basic .NET.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent listening and interpersonal skills. Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
