G Adventures global Marketing team is seeking new talent! Reporting to the VP of Global Marketing, the Partnership Marketing Manager will have the opportunity to develop and manage a global partnership plan, including the identification and development of key tourism, corporate and industry partners in the US, Canada, UK, Europe and Australia.
**This role will be based in one of our following marketing offices and will be dependent upon the successful candidate: Toronto, Canada; Providence, Rhode Island, London, UK.**
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Formalize assets, structure and plan to develop mutually beneficial partnerships that aid in budget & brand extension as well as passenger growth
- Identify and manage the execution of joint marketing opportunities
- Develop brand and tactical promotions designed to increase brand awareness and prospect development
- Build relationships and marketing opportunities with global key accounts that include promotions and re-marketing
- Work with industry associations
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years in marketing partnership role; travel industry preferred
- Proven success at generating new business and cultivating strong relationships
- Advanced skills in interpersonal relationship management including exceptional communications skills (both verbal and written)
- Demonstrated organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and establish clear priorities while meeting deadlines and budgets in a fast paced environment
- Thorough understanding of sales and marketing principles and strategies
- Ability to work with limited direction to satisfy high level business objectives
- Experience managing and developing a successful team
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work with various teams across multiple disciplines
- Highly energetic, creative and strategic thinker
- Positive and innovative attitude with the ability to lead and motivate others
- Understanding of, and identification with, G Adventures’ core values
- Open and willing to travel 6-8 weeks annually
