Job Summary:
The Planning Officer shall be responsible and shall have the authority to ensure that the requirements of the Planning System are met. This includes coordinating the development of all Strategic Action Plan and budget guideline documents, ensuring strategic plans and budget implementation, conduct and implementation feasibility studies in investment projects, and periodic review of the Hospital's corporate plan and quarterly budget performance reviews.
Duties and Responsibilities
The above member of staff is hereby authorized and mandated by Deputy Executive Director of Administration to carry out the following essential functions and responsibilities:
Development of the corporate plan indicating strategic objectives, strategies activities and performance indicators
Assist directors and Heads of department to prepare annual action plan in line with strategic plan
Develop performance monitoring and evaluation systems and tools coordinate monitoring and evaluation of implementation of I the strategic plans and report on performance
Assist in preparation of the budget guidelines and work with other departments in selling the departmental budget frame work.
Prepare and quarterly and annual reports on the Hospital's achievements of strategic objectives
Scheduling and organizing strategic plan review meetings in consultations with the Head of units
Develop strategies for exploiting opportunities with a view to achieving sustainable development
Explore and advise management to take advantages of health collaborations available Worldwide
Advise Management to capitalize on feasible investment opportunities available in the market
Develop business plan on all investment and business Opportunities as approved by the Hospital Board of Trustees
Advise Management on how best the available resources and facilities can be utilized to increase income generation
Develop Investment policy and oversee its implementation Coordinate implementation of the Hospital plans and programmes
To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time
Minimum Qualifications Experience
Holder of University degree or equivalent in Economics, statistics, Hospital management and Health Administration
At least five years work experience in supervisory Position in reputable organization that involved financial and economic analysis, portfolio management and funds outsourcing.
Must have attended Master's Degree in Economics, statistics, Public Health Management

Salary:As per MNH Salary Structure.
