ACT Alliance is a global alliance of churches and church-based organisations which work in humanitarian assistance and development. The 133 members of the alliance work in 149 countries, making ACT one of the largest global humanitarian and development alliances. ACT has a small secretariat based in Geneva, Switzerland, which has the following vacancy.
Senior Communications Officer
The ACT Secretariat seeks an innovative and resourceful communicator/manager to lead a small communications team who has the responsibility for improving ACT’s visibility among key audiences through strong and effective internal and external communications with a limited budget. S/he will work closely with member organisations to develop and implement the communications strategy for the alliance. Applicants must have at least 10 years experience in an international communications-related field or with a global alliance and have a relevant university qualification. The working language of the Secretariat is English; a high level of proficiency is required.
