Duties and specific responsibilities Being integrally staff of MOH/Decentralization and integration desk Monitor and evaluate in site activities in health facilities selected for transition
- Provide technical assistance to transitioned sites to help with data management and reporting
- Conduct assessments of health facilities
- Provide regular support and supervision to M&E staff at District Hospitals
- Perform statistical analyses and write evaluation reports compilation
- Prepare relevant reports for integration desk
- Work closely with M&E staff to implement and improve M&E systems
- Report to the M&E head of department
- Be proactive and involve in all activities done in Ministry of Health
Qualification for Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Rwanda by Nationality with :
- Bachelor’s in Public health, statistics with background in public health domain, health economics and project management, management with 3 years of experience in monitoring and Evaluation
- Two years experience working in monitoring and evaluation and research in public health programs
- Demonstrated data management and analysis skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database management and ability to learn new software products
- Excellent communication and writing skills in French, English and Kinyarwanda
- A proven ability to work as part of a team and to be self-managing
- Willingness to travel 25-40% of the time (in country supervision)
