Shell Real Estate is located across 60 countries in which Shell operates in, employing 600 full time employees and 7,000 staff in the business service centres. The function looks after 20 mln square feet of office space and 18,000 properties (excluding Retail stations). In Aberdeen our Corporate Centre buildings include office/facilities space for 2200 work stations, The Woodbank Hotel and Conferencing Centre and a children’s Nursery.
We are looking to recruit an exceptional Soft Services Coordinator within the Aberdeen Estate. Its a fantastic opportunity for a Soft Services professional to commence an in-house career within one of the largest corporations in the world.
With an Opex and Capex Budget totaling £5m, the successful applicant would be expected to provide leadership, contract management and customer interface for facility management services within the Aberdeen Estate.
Duties will include, but not exclusive to the following:-
-Liaise with local business representatives to manage expectations on service standards (catering, cleaning/hygiene, waste management, hospitality, mail etc)
-Establish and maintain arrangements for managing customer requests and administering work-flow via our in-house systems Planon and Condeco
-Provide service provider(s) with advice on policies and standards for facility management services and Maintain Service Level Agreements
-Work with service provider(s) to achieve sustainable business improvements, especially in HSE and value for money, liaising with expertise colleagues as appropriate
-Measure service performance against set targets (including contract scorecards), support improvement activities where needed and provide assurance to the site manager on service integrity/compliance issues
-Liaise with the Operational Security manager/supervisor to ensure coordination on access control and reception services
-Make arrangements to measure key customer and end-user satisfaction with support services, and execute improvement plans as appropriate
-Establish policies and arrangements for the management of waste streams, maximising recycling opportunities
-Establish and maintain arrangements for managing customer requests and administering work-flow via our in-house systems Planon and Condeco
-Provide service provider(s) with advice on policies and standards for facility management services and Maintain Service Level Agreements

-Support implementation of space planning activities across the site
-Support contract suppliers with hotel management and nursery provision
Requirements:
You will be a graduate with Facilities Management experience and/or qualification and be able to demonstrate experience of the major service lines (housekeeping, space planning, catering, mail). Experience in managing service contract and Space management activities is also key. Ideally you will have an awareness of Nursery and Hotel Operating requirements, although for the right calibre of candidate, this could developed within the role.
