National counterpart in reservoir engineering for geothermal development
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Together with the Chief geothermal reservoir engineer and the Director of Energy and Geothermal Development Manager, developing a sustainable business model that would deliver over 300 MWe of steam equivalent for Rwanda to achieve geothermal expansion plan in the next 7-15 years.
- Working with the chief geothermal reservoir engineer to support EWSA in building its institutional capacity and in the management and administrative activities.
- An undergraduate degree in Engineering/Physics/Mathematics/Geophysics and a Master’s degree in the same field.
- Post graduate training in Geothermal Technology would be an added advantage.
- 2 years of work experience with a minimum of 1 year work experience in exploration and development.
- Experience in exploration, project management and evidence of ability to develop staff.
All local counterparts are expected to understudy their assigned expert in the field of expertise throughout the course of the appointment.
