London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine - Administrative services
The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, an internationally renowned centre for research and postgraduate education in public health and tropical medicine, requires a full time Management Information Systems Officer to carry out development, support and administration of our systems in one of the following areas:
Finance - Agresso, pFACT, BACS
Student Information System - SITS, eVision
Personnel & Payroll - Northgate ResourceLink Aurora
Additionally, the post holder will be responsible for assisting in the administration and support of the School's other administrative computer systems and for assisting in their development. Over time the post-holder will be expected to build a degree of knowledge of the other areas in order to provide adequate cover and support within the MIS team.
Applicants should have successful previous experience in a systems development, administration and support role. The School's administrative computing systems are based around Microsoft SQL Server databases running on Windows Servers and knowledge of these platforms is essential.
The appointment is for 3 years and will have a starting salary in the range £35,511 - £40,349 per annum, inclusive on the Professional Support Pathway scale Grade 6.
