The Oil Movements, Product Quality and Distribution Group offers an ideal environment for personal development.
- Provide commercially viable services that add business value for customers in the area of Fuels Product Quality encompassing operational support,knowledge transfer,reviews and Product Quality Management support.
- Deliver activities such as providing product quality advice,blending advice,operations advice,Bio-Fuels implementation advice and Product master planning
- Providing help desk support for customers
- Teaching training courses at customer sites and centrally Traveling (up to 30%) to customer locations plus participation in consultancy studies such as hydrocarbon masterplanning
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior staff members
Requirements:
- The applicant should (preferably) have a degree in Chemical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in refining with a significant portion of that time spent in fuels quality.
- The candidate should be able to liaise with and influence customers at all levels in the business. Individuals are given freedom, responsibility and support in their work as appropriate, and there will be opportunities to contribute to the development of the group.
- Applicants should have good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with both Shell and non-Shell customers.
- Applicants will be assessed for their levels of leadership, accountability and teamwork
