The management of EWSA would like to inform the all interested candididates, that it is recruiting suitable and qualified international experts and national counterparts for the following position:
International Expert on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Developing and harmonizing national policy for renewable energy and energy efficiency;
- Developing proposals of programmes and projects in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency to be developed as per the national energy strategy;
- Coordinating the identification and preparation of feasibility studies (business plans) for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects to be supported by the EWSA and in the process mobilize support for such projects from development partners;
- University degree (Masters) in a relevant discipline (e.g. in renewable energy, energy efficiency, electrical engineering, finance and economics, applied science, environmental management and engineering will be an advantage but not essential);
- A minimum of 10 years of hands on work experience in renewable energy and energy efficiency and capacity development;
- Knowledge and experience in conducting financial and economic analysis of energy projects;
All experts are expected to perform a mentorship and coaching role and to provide on the job training to their assigned local counterparts in the field of expertise throughout the course of the appointment.
