The division carries out national and international energy projects which means that the job includes many interesting and varied tasks and some travelling. The Business Controller will report directly to the Vice President of the division and to the corporate Chief Business Controller.
Working tasks:
• Financial controller for the division
• Budgeting and budget follow-up
• Project follow-up and reporting
• Preparation for and participation in steering group meetings
• Establishment of and follow-up on subsidiaries in countries where Semco Maritime carries out projects, including matters concerning accounts, taxes, VAT, duties, auditor, bank, etc.
• Sparring with the divisional director and project managers for financial aspects, such as:
- Financing of projects
- Preparation of guarantees for projects
- Contractual conditions
- Risk management
- Focus areas
- Ad-hoc tasks
Profile:
• Vast knowledge of financial aspects in an international project company
• Business sense and business oriented
• Teamplayer cooperating with colleagues and with external business partners
• We expect a dynamic, service minded and outgoing person with high skills and social competences who thrives in a busy organisation.
• Good language skills in writing and speech (Danish and English as a minimum)
• IT skills (MS-office, IFS / integrated ERP-systems)
• Education within business economics (HD, cand. merc or similar) and relevant experience.
